Home Alone!

Wohoo! Hubby and son went to a Hockey game and I’m left at home, alone, free to spend the evening the way I want it! This is one rare occasion which I will treasure! And I will for sure spend the night by my scrap desk. YAY!

Before I do that, I’ll share the cards I made this morning. I got the most AWESOME stamps from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps yesterday and I had to start playing with them. I fell in love with this little bird, so I made two 4x4 Valentine’s cards with it.

This first one is based on the beautiful sketch of the week from Stamps and Smiles.Feb 1 Next one is based on the Get Sketchy sketch, and is also made for the 3 S challenge over at 365 cards. S as in Stripes, Squares and Spring.Feb 2I’m heading to my scrap room! Wish you all a lovely Saturday!

Snygga och enkla!

Jag gillade båda korten och skulle vilja kunna göra så fina kort själv också!

Well I'm so glad you shared your story with us. I was feeling a little guilty about being excited about DH going on a 4 day trip for work, teehee. I'm trying to hide my enthusiasm from him though, but the man never goes anywhere but work and home it seems like. He really needs to get a life, teehee!

These are all just lovely chick!

BTW I LOVED how you layered the different shapes on the first one. I don't think I would have ever thought of that! And then o top of the cuttlebug as well, awesome! Did you use some kid of doodle template for the circle? Is the next layer a die? Thanks for inspiring us!
