Butterfly Center step card

Happy Wednesday!

For today’s Heartfelt Creations post I have a center step card using the oh so amazing Butterfly Medley PreCut Set teamed up with the Timeless Amour Die and roses made from Botanical Floral PreCut Set.

Butterfly 2

I’ve dressed the panels with beautiful papers from the Sunny Days Paper Collection. The turquoise with the soft butterfly pattern and white lacey swirls is my favorite.

Butterfly 3

I layered a couple of the heart die cuts to get more dimension to the frame, and then dressed it up with tiny pearls.

Butterfly 1

The Butterfly stamp is colored with Distress inks on Aquarelle paper.

Got to go, another busy day lies ahead. But February will soon be over and the deadline we’ve been working against for 1,5 years is on Friday. Then my life will begin again… :)

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!!!

Love

Hi!

For this week's The Rubber Cafe DT post I have an 8 x 8 layout to share today. I’ve started this smaller album to scrap the random photos that I don’t tend to scrap otherwise. Here is one of the pages I’ve made so far. It’s my boy with his iPad.

Love layout 1 2

I went crazy with the stamps on this one. The background is made with the Don't be Wishy Washi set by The Rubber Cafe.

Love layout 2

The polaroid frame (yes it's a favorite!!!) is from the Pictures Framed set and the date block, title and flower in the upper right corner are all from the Remember This Moment set.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a fab new week!!!

Hugs and Kisses

My boy is away on winter break all week. He is being spoiled rotten by his grandparents. And I miss him badly. *Sigh* So, today I made them all a card wishing them a fun week together. I used my boy’s all time favorite stamp. He picked it for me a few years ago, and he asks me now and again if I’ve used it lately… Now I can honestly say yes!

Puss och kram

I used this fabbie sketch from Sunday sketch and stamp.

Hello!

Here is this week’s Heartfelt Creations card. I used the Antique Essentials PreCut Set and I must say I loved coloring it. The water pump reminds me of my wonderful childhood summer vacations where we stayed in a cabin with no electricity and water from a pump like this. It was green.

Hello!

It’s a pure joy to color these stamps!

Barry Manilow

Hi!

I'm having a much needed coffee break, trying to get a bit acu on blogs and stuff. So much inspiration, so little time... Oh well, I have a deadline on Friday/Monday, I hope to retrieve my life after that. A bit anyway... :):):)

As therapy, I've been scrapbooking late nights when sleep is far away. I thought I'd share one of the pages today. It's totally out of my comfort zone and was so much fun to make.

This is what Anders looks like when he says Barry Manilow.

We have this family joke related to the man, the myth the legend Barry Manilow that I will not be able to explain (it has to be experienced), and this is my dear husband making me hit the floor with laughter.

Using up some old supplies, yay!

Have a fab day!

Treat Box

Hi! Happy Monday!

For today’s blog post over at The Rubber Cafe I made a sweet little treat box.  I used an old chocolate box as a template, and it worked out really great and it was super easy to make.

Love box 1

I stamped the white Pugnacious Signature paper with 18th Century Proclamation all around the box and heat embossed it. Then I went over it all with Distress inks and sprayed it with Glimmer mist. It got this glimmering look that is almost metallic.

Love box 3

The LOVE sentiment is from Pictures Framed set and it is also heat embossed. The butterfly comes from Butterfly Set. The pearls ended up a bit out of line, but it’s fixed now. Too dark to take new photos though.

Love box 2

I have a full tutorial with template up on The Rubber Café Blog, you can find it HERE if interested.

My google went back to normal last night. I think. 2000+ posts from the past week showed up in my reader. Might come more since it was gone for a while.

Love Always

Hi! Happy Monday!

I thought a love themed card would be a good idea for today’s The Rubber Cafe project. I wanted to use the Love Always sentiment stamp and teamed it up with the Pictures Framed and Don’t be Wishy Washy.

Love always 1

I stamped and clear embossed the sentiment on a piece of scrap patterned paper and framed it with the cut out Pictures Framed stamp. I masked some washy tape stamps on the panel and added a piece of fabric tape and a button to finish it off.

Love always 2

My google reader has gone crazy. Most of the blogs I’m following are gone and my new posts isn’t up on other people’s readers either. Grrr. I’ll look into it but I have so much else on my (and my family’s) plate right now so I just wish things like this would work.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Favorite layout and a Valentines CAS card

Hi! Here is a layout I’ve been working on a few days now. It’s a new favorite of mine, cause it was super fun to make and I love the photos of my boy and my mom playing games and having a great time together. I used all scraps for this, all the papers and embellies are from old kits from 2011. I was sooooo inspired by Julie and her work with her stash!!!

Spelgalna 1

I used this fab sketch from Scrapbook.com:

Every week I plan to play along with CAS-ual Fridays, but seldom do. But wohooo, this week I did!!! I used my Grunge 2  stamps from Skipping Stones Design and stamped away. Super easy. I’m just sorry that , the red I love you ended up really wonky on the photo. It’s a brighter red, like the twine, irl.

I love you

My son’s first reaction was: who is THAT? YOU!!! What awful glasses!!!!

Well, it IS 11 years ago. And it IS hard to find nice glasses – I’m in the process right now so I know all about it. Anyway, I really like this page. It’s a bit soft in the colors and the colors are my favorite combo of blue and browns. I stamped a lot, but a bit subtle on this one. The flowers and the hearts are clear embossed and inked, but doesn’t really come through on the pic.

The Heartfelt Creations Blog is chock full of projects so don’t forget to pop over! Thanks for stopping by today!

On top of the world

Happy Sunday! Hope you are enjoying a lovely weekend!

I have a random layout to share. The photos are from our vacation last summer when my boy met the special rock formations of Gotland and Fårö for the first time. He could have spent the whole week climbing these rocks.

on top of the world

I used a sketch for the design, but can’t find it.
