Card Patterns #92

Hi! Popping in real quick to share a card.  Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps is this week’s sponsor of Card Patterns and here is my card for the challenge.

To a special friend  The stamp is the 50s lady from Prickley Pear. I think she is loooovely!!!  And here is the sketch. A great one it is, many possibilities. I flipped it, I don’t know why, but I like tall cards!

Have a nice Saturday night!

Hi!

First of all – Happy Thanksgiving to all my US and Canadian friends! Hope you all have a wonderful day with family and lots of delish turkey!!!
And behold, I have both a card and a layout to share! It’s awfully quiet around here nowadays, but I’m still around. Just busy. :)
First up is a card I did yesterday. Still have quite a few Christmas cards to make so I’d better keep up the pace!
The season of peace is...All stamps used are from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps. I used the beautiful snowflakes stamps from last year and my favorite Polka dot circle. So versatile!!!  The sentiment is from the Cardinal set.
I used this fabbie sketch from Card Patterns:
I made a layout for my Monday blog post over at Scrap-Perra, but never came round to blog it here. So, here it is:
Se det snöarIt’s lovely Bo Bunny paper – the DT got a fun challenge this week. To use the same two papers on our designs. FUN!!! All info about the page and the rest of the DT projects blogged so far can be found HERE.
Have a great day! And thanks for stopping by!
Ohhhh, and there is STILL TIME to participate in our fun Vintage Love Week over at 365 cards!!!

365 Cards Vintage Love Blog Hop

Hi folks and welcome to 365 Cards For the love of Vintage Blog Hop! We are celebrating Vintage all week long with cards, challenges and fantastic prizes!!! You should have arrived here from Sophia! And if you didn’t you might want to start from the beginning at 365 Cards blog where you also will find full info!

This hop has come to be thanks to our amazing Gloria Stengel who has showered the DT with Vintage goodies and also donated 3 PRIZES!!! (And lets say they are GENEROUS)! So a special thank you to GLORIA!!! Sooo, how can you win, you might ask. There are three prize and hence three ways to win!
First you can win by simply playing along this week as usual! Second - Each member of the design team will be revealing an item/technique/or the like which makes up a 'recipe' for an ultimate card which will be the challenge on Saturday. If you manage that card – you can win a prize.   Finally- there is ALSO another prize for a random draw on all the people that comment on all of the DT's 365 Cards Blog posts – so start commenting!!!
Now over to the sketch and card!
Domestic Goddess
Can you guess what my item is??? It’s Die Cuts!!!  I love die cuts! And I love all the stuff Gloria sent me. All is from her but the cardstock!
Now, to continue the hop, you should head over to Rose’s happy place. But don’t forget to leave a comment first! Have a fun hop this week!!!

Hostess gift

I was supposed to spend next weekend with some of my best girlfriends, out in the woods in a cabin with good food and some sparkling wine (and possibly a single malt later on). But it got cancelled as late as yesterday. We’ll find a new weekend, and when it’s time, my gift for the hostess is all done! I might have to buy some new chocolate though… Here is the bag and card I did for her:

Winter Post

Hi! We are expecting our first snow storm later today. Yikes! So a card with the fabbie Winter Post stamp from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps is for sure suitable.

Winterpost The papers are from Riddersholm Design and the sketch I used is from Card Patterns and looks like this.

This week’s project for Scrap-Perra is a layout about my boy playing bowling. We had fun. I won! :):):)

Strike Info in Swedish about the layout can be found in THIS post. I used Sketchy Thursday’s sketch of the week.

Back to work. Have a great day!

Super Sketchy Sunday

Happy Sunday folks!

It's time for a new sketch by Pam over at 365 cards. And a lovely sketch it is.

We are lucky to have Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps as sponsor this week (again!!! wohoo!!!) and one happy card maker will recieve a fabbie rubber stamp prize! I used my favorite PPRS stamp set Clearly Beautiful Hibiscus on my card, and I also flipped the sketch.
I love green, and I really like how this one came out. BUT - super BAD weather all week made the photographing business totally impossible. Once I had mailed it off the sun came out. Figures. Anyway, sorry about that, imagine vivid colors... LOL!

I've spent the weekend with this young man and the rest of his (and my) family.

Have a lovely Sunday!

Christmas Goodies

Hi! Here is the DT project I did for Scrap-Perra’s blog this week. I used some fabbie Graphic 45 papers, one with die cut tags ready to pop out and use. I kept it simple and besides making the saffron biscotti it was a real quick fix. Only some stamping and adhering ready made tags - done. If you want this in Swedish and some product information, check THIS post out.

Korg

It’s a basket filled with simple goodies found at home or in the local grocery store. Perfect when one does not have time to go into town to buy hostess gifts or the like.

Korg - innehåll

The basket carries a card, a bag of saffron biscotti. Yummy!!! And the recipe is on the tag – most people that has once tasted them wants to know how to make them. Some really good tea, candles and a box of matches. All that it takes for a nice cozy moment.

Kort - kort Kort - ljus

I will return to work. I’m writing like a mad woman at the moment. Big meeting with big tutor in 2 weeks. I’m happy I have scrapbooking, otherwise I’d probably be a total nerd and a nervous wreck only occupied with the right handling of manure and  the question about Ayrshire or not in Värmland.  Yikes!

Have a great day!
