Pion Design

I’ve made my first inspiration layout as part of the Svensk Scrapbooking team, using fab papers from Pion Design, a Swedish paper manufacturer. Love this stuff!!!

Today it’s Sunday which also means it’s time for a new fun and inspiring sketch by Pam over at 365 Cards!!! My card is a birthday card that will be delivered later today so I’ll wait with posting it.

Wish you all a lovely Sunday!

Cardinal Card

Hi folks! Isn’t it totally WONDERFUL that it’s finally FRIDAY!?!?! Wohoo, I’m sooo happy about that. I’ve decided to take a complete work free weekend. And actually scrap some… I still have a work day to complete though, so this will be a quick one. I made a card using Laura’s sketch #64 over at 2Sketches4You.

2010 okt 27_7415_redigerad-1 All stamps are from Prickley Pear’s clear stamp sets. The cardinal bird, sentiment and snowflakes are from the Cardinal set while the tree branches are from the Ornaments set.  And here is the fun sketch:

Over to my good news! I was asked to join the team over at Svensk Scrapbooking (Swedish scrap forum and blog) and I’m totally thrilled about it!! The ladies and few gents over there are the sweetest ever, and the atmosphere is totally supportive and cheerful. Soooo, I’m one happy lady!

Have a great Friday!!!!

Happiness

Hi! I thought I’d try brighten this gloomy day up with a DT page for Scrap-Perra about a happy couple on their wedding day. They, my cousin and wife, are arriving at the reception after the wedding ceremony and they look sooo happy!

Lycka The papers used are Pink Paislee Parisian Anthology, my current favorite papers with amazing embossed details. If you want details about the page, like products used (in Swedish) and some close ups, you can find it in THIS post over at Scrap-Perra’s blog.

I have a lot of catching up to do, a couple of cards to share, some sweet awards received in the last couple of weeks (I know, totally ungrateful!) and some super FUN news. It will come, but it’s been rather busy lately. Work intrudes on my scrap- and computer time. Like now, I have to go finish reading a book titled Relationer mellan bruk och omland i östra Småland 1750-1900 - I wont even try to translate that one, but trust me – it’s a killer!

Have a great day!

Hi!

Here is a layout I did with my DT-kit from Scrap-Perra. The papers and embellies are mainly The Girl’s Paperie – Paper Girl. Loooove this stuff, and it was perfect for a layout about my sweet mom. Feminine and colorful, just like her!

På crop med mor

The layout is about our our newly invented tradition – to go to crops together, in spring and autumn (or whenever Svensk Scrapbooking is having their Expos…). It’s so much fun, spending time together just the two of us (and all the other scrap crazy ladies…). If you want some close ups and product info in Swedish – it’s all on the Scrap-Perra blog in THIS post

I’m off for work! Have a great Thursday!

A fond farewell

I have been a part of A Page in Time’s amazing Design Team for two years and it’s been soooo much fun. I’ve learnt so much and had ooozes of fun with the lovely girls, both on the team and the forum participants, so it’s kind of sad to say good bye. But it’s time to move on and here is my last page as part of the team. It’s made as a sample for the October Challenge – to use themed paper for something else than that particular  theme.
Hold Up'
I used the amazing Halloweenish Blackbird papers and chipboards from MME, which is part of the October kit. Love this stuff!!! The chippies are darling with some glitter on them!!! I love the cowboy, he is perfect for this page about my boy and the train robbery at the amusement park High Chapparall a couple of years ago. Have no fear, it all ended well with my boy shooting the bad guy! LOL!

I used Sketchy Thursday's November GDT sketch as inspiration. It's a GREAT sketch! For sure!

Oki doki. Thank you girls at A Page in Time! It's been fun, and I'll pop in and say hi on the forum!!!

I have a card to share too. I got a new package of goodies from Scrap-Perra last week, containing some AWESOME clear stamps - the Parisian Anthology from Pink Paislee (in joint venture with House of Three). And here is my card. Really simple, but with these beautiful stamp, less is more. I clear embossed them to get a more luxious glare and I'm quite happy with the result.

Fly with me

I have another layout on Scrap-Perra's blog using these stamps and some awesome The Girls' paperie papers and embellies. I'll blog it here tomorrow, but if you want a head start  :P  or some product information in Swedish, you can find it HERE.

Have a lovely Monday!

Super Sketchy Sunday!

Hi!!! Welcome to a new fun sketch and a new fun sponsored week with 365 card!!!

Our new generous sponsor is Catherine Pooler, Stampin’ Up!!! She gave the team goodies to play with AND she will donate a PRIZE to one lucky participant this week!

Now over to the sketch:

And here is my take, using Stampin’ Up’s card base, patterned paper and fabbie ribbon!!!

Just wanting to say hiThe stamps are from Prickley Pear’s Hot Air Balloon set and I also used the coordinated die.

Hop on over to the 365 Cards’ blog and check out all the fabbie cards done by the DT, and I do hope you play along with us!!!

***

I have another card with Prickley Pear stamps and die (The Ornaments set) to share. I did it earlier this week, but never came round to take a photo. It’s for Scraplagret’s Non traditional Christmas Challenge – to make a project using mainly pink, purple and/or turquoise colors.

God Jul i rosa o lila

I wish you a lovely Sunday!

Here are the projects I did last week at the Cyber Crop hosted by Svensk Scrapbooking. I won four challenges (YIHAA!!) AND I won the prize among the ladies who completed all 10 challenges. I got a great title which is totally not translatable!!! But it has something to do with cakes since it was a birthday crop. I can relate to cakes! For sure! Anyway, I’m over the moon and totally honored and I wanted to share all my projects from last weekend: 4 layouts, 4 cards and 2 altered projects.Bowlingförälder-1första semesternMin bästa födelsedag Fri från syndTack liftHi There4 ny Thanks a bunch 2 Tårtbit2 Paket 2_redigerad-1

Time Flies

Time Flies – for sure! Where did 2010 go? It’s autumn already, cold and frosty when I woke up today. Had to light i fire this morning. Yikes!!!

365 cards is having a Prickley Pear sponsored week and I thought I’d play along every day. Well, bummer… I couldn’t manage yesterdays card at all. I tried doing that stupid stitching but ended up with a pinned finger and blood all over… Oh well, it was not meant to be. But I did do today’s Tuesday Trio: Gold, Leaf and Ribbon.

Time Flies The stamps used are Clock Face and Wings and the sentiment Time Flies. Papers are MME, Lost and Found. Love this stuff!!! And the card is made for Kazan’s sketch #63 over at 2Sketches4You. It’s a GREAT one!!!

I have a layout to share too, it’s my little baker making ginger bread cookies. He is very dedicated to his task! :):):)  All products used are from Scrap-Perra and all details about them (in Swedish) and some close ups of the layout can be found on the Scrap-Perra blog in THIS post.

En liten bagare

I love how this page came out, and it’s much thanks to the fab sketch from Page Maps.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Super Sketchy Sunday

This week is a fantastic week, when my favorite challenge blog teams up with my favorite stamp company. This is what i’d call a perfect match!!!

Super FUN!!! And Pam made us a gorgeous sketch to use when playing with fabbie red rubber.

I got the Autumn is a second spring and the Leaf Flourish stamps to play with. I teamed them up with some Riddersholm Design Fall papers.

Autumn is a second spring You can check out the rest of the team’s creations using Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps in the 365 Cards blog. They are BEAUTIFUL!!! And I hope you will play along this week for your chance to wine some lovely rubber!!!

I’m Cyber Cropping like a mad woman this weekend over at Svensk Scrapbooking. I didn’t craft at all last week so I, and I have lots of new fun products so I’m highly motivated! Plus, the challenges are super inspiring!!! Here are two of the layouts I’ve done so far, both using the oh so lovely MME Alphabet Soup papers.

första semesternThis is for a lift challenge. The original is AWESOME! But I sort of like my version too. This is from my first vacation as a fat 9 month baby. LOL!!! We spent every summer vacation at this place until I turned 13. And I really loved it though we didn’t have any electricity, indoor toilet or water in the house… It was pure adventure!

Fri från synd

This page is made for the color challenge – to use A LOT of colors. And I think I did! The title reads “Free from sin”. We attended a Medieval fair this summer and met this, ehm… monk, or what ever he was. He sold letter of indulgence. Dad bought one for mom. Well, I don’t know… I thought it was way to cheap, and the promise it would last for the whole year to come sounded too good to be true – especially when reconsidering the price, 20 SEK, or less than $3

I’m heading back to my scrap table. Have a great Sunday!!!!

Two cards and happy mail days!!!

I’ve had this super busy week. Haven’t been home in daylight since Monday and haven’t made anything scrap related either. If it wasn’t because of a serious scrap itch, I’d hit the sofa for the rest of the evening. I do have two cards to share that I did Sunday and Monday. First up is a card for Mojo Monday’s sketch challenge #159.

A wish for peaceI used a fabbie green Webster’s pages paper and a new Prickley Pear stamp called A wish for peace.

The second card was made on the Crop last week. I used the new Riddersholm Design Christmas papers and another stamp from the last Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps release, Mary and Baby Jesus.

May your joys be manyI tried a new folding since I had the expert of making these cards opposite of me on the crop – Cath. She helped both me and mom out, and this is my result.

I’ve had some happy mail days lately too! I got a birthday card and present from my lovely bloggy friend Li-bee ti:

Li-bee ti She used my favorite color combo, and lookie – more crochet flowers!!! And I got a blog candy from sweet Julie!!! Nikki Sivils papers and burlap buttons!!! And a super fun card!!!

Julie

AND, today I got a surprise RAK card and clear stamps from amazing Amy. I’m one lucky girl!!!!

Amy

Thank you girls, you are the BEST!!! and your mail totally brighten my some what gloomy week up A LOT!!!

Have a fab weekend!!! It IS Friday!!! Wohooo!!! Let the free time BEGIN!

And here is the sketch I used:

Talking about shopping…. I’ve got a couple of questions about what I bought, so here is a photo of the pile.

I alos had the fortune to win one of the challenges (to scrap a group photo of all the scrappy ladies, I blogged it yesterday) and got a nice prize sponsored by Scraplagret.

Min vinst

It’s Cosmo Crickets Material Girl and Garden Variety papers. Yummy!!! I’ll have some serious fun with all of this. That’s for sure!!!
