I’m so happy it’s Friday!!! I’ve been longing for this day for a couple of weeks, cause tonight I’ll se my mom and dad! :)
This month I started to subscribe to Cocoa Daisy kits. Haven’t had a kit in YEARS so it was super fun to receive the May Vintage inspired package. I had to dig into it right away!!!
I also have a couple of cards to share. First up is the birthday card I’ve made for my cousin who turned 30 yesterday. She is a 50’s inspired gorgeous looking lady, so the Prickley Pear stamp was an easy pick as main image. A lot of other stamps too…
This card is for the Scrap Fever Competition over at Magda’s Scrapbooking. The challenge was to use at least five different shapes.
I’ll be back tomorrow with a Prickley Pear Sketch Challenge. Hope to see you then! Have a wonderful Friday!!!
I have for several days had serious problems with commenting on blogs. Blogger’s last update on the issue is from the 24:th. They are working on it… It’s extremely annoying. The blog I tried to comment on five minutes ago already had 24 responses but it wouldn’t take mine! GRRRRRRR. Just wanted you to know why you haven’t seen me much. I’m around, but not able to leave comments.
Details: Stamps – HCPC 3393 Tea With Bella PreCut Set. Die – HCD 702 Decorative Butterfly-Border Die. Ink: Versa Fine onyx black. Colored with tombows. Papers – MME Stella & Rose paper pad. Kaiserkraft rheinstones, ribbon and glass embellie.
I'm entering this last card in Papertake Weekly's Pretty Pale Pastels challenge and I'm using this lovely sketch from Inspirational Card Sketches:
Go check out the AMAZING work of the Heartfelt Creations' DT over at the blog!!! And take care and have a lovely Wednesday!
I was sitting by my scrap desk this morning when suddenly a bad cold attacked me from behind. Never saw it coming. Within 20 minutes I went from “normal” to red nosed, tear eyed whining Tesa. Gosh!
Here is a layout I’ve been working on for the Cocoa Daisy Crop. The challenge was to find something very ready for the bin, scrap about it and let it go when the memories was saved. Sooooo, I finally let go of my beloved doll Skrållan. She was so very special to me, and she was my companion for many, many years. She has been ready to go for quite some time, but it’s been hard… This made it easier.
I’m off for the couch. Have a great ending of this Sunday folks!
Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps has a fun new red rubber release in store for you, packed with vintage images & images that are great for Fathers Day or just for him. Be sure to visit all the PPRS design team’s blogs for great card ideas as we all have something to show off today. Make sure to leave comments on each blog, as three random winners will be chosen to receive awesome rubber stamps from this release party! Winners will be chosen and announced Monday May 23rd.
I have two cards today. First up is a wonderful vintage lady! Isn’t she stylish!?! I teamed her up with my all time favorite flower – the Clearly Beautiful Hibiscus. And my fave color combo!
Next card is more colorful, love these MME papers. Not many left in my paper pad now. Time to move on. This beautiful flourished frame stamp is a perfect fit with the clear stamp set Birdcage. The flower is from Clearly Beautiful Flowers set.
I used sketch # 115 from Inspirational Card Sketches. It’s a great one! :)
Be sure to pop over to my fellow DT sisters!
Have a lovely Saturday!!!
Hi! I’m cleaning my house. Well needed. But I must say I’d rather be scrapbooking… I’m taking a break with a nice cup of tea and thought I’d share the happy, happy mail I received yesterdan and a double I did over a week ago for Magda’s scrap fever competition.
The photos are from our picnic in the archipelago a few weeks back. It was a beautiful day!
And look what I found in my mail box!!! It’s from my dear friend Li-bee ti. It’s a inspiration book with pockets for sketches, photos and other inspiration!! In my favorite color combo – brown and turquoise!!!
♥♥♥ THANK YOU ♥♥♥
I’ll be back later tonight with a second post. Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps is releasing new über FAB red rubber!!! Hope to see you then!
…or sort of. My co worker’s granddaughter is turning 7 on Sunday and she wanted me to make her a girly card. A pink princess card. I don’t know why, but it ended up to be quite a difficult task. LATE last night I finally finished this one up.
I know I used some of my favorite products like the Crate papers (YUMMY) and the banner stamps fro PTI. Also, I got a new stamp, a Tilda. I used this fab sketch from CLP Challenge Blog.
Got to RUN!!!

I used this week’s fabbie sketch # 115 from Card Patterns.
Second up is a card using the most magnificent background stamp there is (IMHO)! :) :) :)
I did quite some fussy cutting on this one. Love the color combos with the grey, pink and plum (or what ever the darker color is called in English!)

Hi! Monday again. Isn’t there an awful lot of Mondays all the time? I don’t know, but it feels like there are twice as many Mondays as Sundays. Minimum.
The challenge is to be inspired by a word – GIFT. And what is a better gift than sweet cupcakes?? (The bonus is they are guaranteed calorie free). You can find the challenge HERE.
I used the same stamp for my tag. I did this one for the “Truly Scrumptious Challenge” over at Cocoa Daisy’s crop this weekend.
Lot’s of really, really neat stamps on this one. Details on products and technique can be found HERE. And finally, the layout:
This is also a project I made for the Cocoa Daisy crop. This one called “Sew Sentimental”. One was to use faux stitching and scrap a photo of meaning or of sentimental value. This page is about our visit to Prora a few years back and is about how one is hit by History when visiting a place like that. The butterflies are from the Vintage Treasures set.
Off to make dinner. Thanks for stopping by!

Connie och Tesa!
Here is a layout I finished yesterday for Magda’s Scrap Fever Contest.
One was to be inspired by this ad:
I love how my page came out. It’s my boy sitting thinking about life by a lake on one of our bicycle tours. It’s pretty clean and I mainly used stamps and text as decorations to keep the contemplation feel intact. The stamps are all from The Rubber Café.
Thanks for stopping by! Wish you a lovely weekend!
Thursday, the cherry trees are blossoming and the air are filled with a sweet flowery sent. It’s a good day!!! :)

What a weekend!!! We had fantastic weather all weekend, and spent all Saturday out in the archipelago, barbecuing, talking, sun bathing… It was one lazy wonderful day. Here is my DT page for Scrap-Perra using a photo from Saturday:
Here is a detail shot on my home made tissue tape and flower.
I used this sketch from Frosted Design. They are having a On Line Crop until Wednesday with lots of FUN challenges (check them out HERE!) Thanks Li-bee ti for pointing me in the right direction!!! :) :) :)
I’m also entering my layout in the Get Your Glitz On Challenge #2 – Clusters.
I wish you a wonderful week!
Hi folks! Hope you will have a wonderful day filled with scrapbooking. I wont, or, rather, I’ll have a wonderful day (I hope) but it wont be filled with scrapbooking. We have friends visiting over the weekend. But I did make a layout earlier this week.
Isn’t he cute, my nephew Sixten? We met up last weekend and he has grown so much. It’s amazing to think of how tiny he was when he arrived 10 weeks early.
A close up. Check out the crackle effect of the heart (new fabbie die from mr Hotz).
Thanks for stopping by!
We have now come to the final day of the Prickley Pear new set release. And today is the release of my personal favorite. I ADORE these hearts and matching die!!! :) :) :) You’ll see a lot of it in the future! Check it OUT!
The set contains a number of great sentiments both for Wedding cards, Valentines or Friends cards. Do you see the cute key – it’s part of the die set! This card is my take on the CASE Study card for this week. You can find the original AMAZING card HERE, made by oh so talented Sarah Martina Parker.
Do you want a chance to win this set or one of the other four sets released earlier this week??? It’s easy peasy! Simply leave a comment here and at the Prickley Pear Blog and be sure to visit the other designers posts through out the week. We will draw a winner for each day!
Thanks for celebrating the new release with us!
Lots of layers and pop dots and loads of glossy accents on the cherries. They look really yummy IRL, glossy, thick and juicy! LOL! My cherry trees outside are just barely blossoming, so I guess I’ll have to wait for some real treats. But these will work by now! :) Here is the inside:
Products used: HCPC 3387 Luscious Cherry Swirls PreCut Set, HCD 702 Decorative Butterfly-Border Die, Spellbinders Nestabilities, circles and scalloped circles, Spellbinders Labels Fourteen. Cherries colored with Tombows and coated with Glossy Accents.
