We have seven participating blogs and to win the prize of a $25 Gift Certificate from Heartfelt Creations  you want to visit them all and leave comments. One winner will be drawn from one of the blogs randomly. The hop is open until Friday August 3rd and the winner will be announced on Saturday 4th.
Here is the blog hop list
Tesa – that’s me!

And here are my cards. :)
First up is an encouragement card with amazing Decorative Layered Basket Die as main focus!

To Encourage You

The flowers are from the Posy Patch Flowers PreCut Set and cut out with the coordinated Posy Patch Die. The sentiment is from Inspire Me Sentiments PreCut Set. All papers are beautiful MME, Miss Caroline.

When I had my scrap block a while back I got some really good advise about how to get over it. One was a lift challenge from Nick. So, when I got home from our vacation I sat down, did some serious shopping and lifted THIS lovely card and the block was over. Thank you!!!

Next up is an all white. I did it for the DTGD festivities over at SCS.

Vitt heartfelt 1

I painted the background with white gesso and clear embossed the Large Elegant Word Background PreCut Set. Then I added the flourish from the Bella Rose Die with pop dots. Finally I made the flower by layering clear embossed flowers from the Flora Grande 2 PreCut Set cut out with the Blossoms 3 Nestabilities.

To finish the hop continue to amazing LINDA who will have something beautiful in store for you!

Thanks for playing with us!

Scatter Kindness

Hi all!

What a beautiful Monday morning it is!

I have two Prickley Pear cards to share today. The first one is using my all time favorite set (besides the Hibiscus set of course...) Mini Birds Clear Stamps Set with the coordinated Mini Birds Die.

Scatter Kindness 2

I stamped the flourish on patterned paper (from MME) and colored the leafs and flowers with Copics. The birds are stamped and cut out with the die and mounted with 3D foam. It's almost like they are flying! The sentiment is from the Hibiscus 2 Clear Stamps Set.

Scattered Kindness 3

I used this fabbie sketch from Skipping Stones Design.

Next card is a try to make a scenery with an inked background and die cuts / punches. I also used a beautiful sentiment from the Dragonflies 2 Clear Stamps Set.

Enjoy every moment 2

I did this card for Isha's Inked Scenery Challenge over at Yvonne's blog: Do More With Less. Isha's sharing a great tutorial there too (and a FAB sample card), so go check it out!!!! You find it all HERE!

If you want more Prickley Pear inspiration, the Prickley Pear Blog is chock full of awesome card made by the Prickley Pear Team. Just sayin'!

Thanks for stopping by!!!

Have a great day!

The City of Roses

Hi! Happy Sunday!

We are enjoying the weekend with catching up after our vacation. Cleaning, washing, ironing… but we are almost done for today and the man will watch the Olympics while I’ll take the boy to the woods, looking for chanterelles. Life is good!

I love the Olympics, it gives me plenty of scrap time! Here is a double page layout I did last night.

Rosornas stad båda

Visby (city on Gotland) is known as the City of Roses, and that proved to be true. There were roses everywhere. It grew along the narrow alleys and the park was filled with every variety imaginable (and a few more). Here are some of them.

I used papers from DCWV and stamps from The Rubber Café.

Hi!

We came back from the most wonderful vacation week on Gotland late last night. It was a gift from my parents for my 40th birthday and it was the best birthday present ever. It was soooo beautiful and we had tons of fun.

A week passes so quickly, but I have 500 photos to scrap…

But no layout today, instead a card using the Small Trailing Butterflies from The Rubber Café.

Hi!

hi detallj

Love this stamp. :)

I did this card for the Stamp It! Cards Thank You Challenge in the Moxie Fab World. And I used the sketch #116 from Sunday Sketch & Stamp.

Tomorrow is the day I go back to work. I wouldn’t mind another week though…

You Color My World

Hi!

I'm enjoying my week of vacation (I'm sure, this is a pre scheduled post)! :)

I have a quick and easy alter project to share today.

Our neighbors invited us to a spontaneous barbeque party and I needed a quick gift for the hostess. So I took a tin that had once contained tomatoes from our recycling bin and removed the paper and added some of my own instead - beautiful Huntington Garden from Riddersholm Design. With a ribbon, a cut out tag (Fleamarket line from Riddersholm Design) pimped with a dragonfly and sentiment from Dragonflies 2 Clear Stamps Set (Prickley Pear) it was done. Took like 20 minutes. I loooove quick and easy projects!

The dragonfly and sentiment are stamped with Archival ink, Coffee. Look at the amazing pattern of the wings!!! And I love the sentiment. I thought it was perfect for the occasion, she really did color our afternoon (and night as it happened) with the invite!

I filled the tin with flowers from the garden and we were ready to go.

Thanks for stopping by!

The Ar(k)tist

Happy Sunday!

I have a layout to share!!! Wohoo! I love to scrapbook, but seldom find the time. This page is a special one. I love this photo, though it's not a good one, dull colors, out of focus and everything. But the joy of my boy - it shines! It's from summer of 2007 and my boy is singing and preforming his favorite song at the time - The Ark's The Worrying Kind.

He had perfect timing, threw his shirt at the exact same time as Ola Salo did in the show...

I used a sketch, but I worked on my page for so long (yes I know, a very simple page, but still took me loads of time to complete), I've forgotten where I got it...

A couple of close ups on the stamped decorations:

The stamps are from Prickley Pear - Dragonflies 2 Clear Stamps Set.

Have a great day!

Best Wishes

TGIF!!!

And the sun is shining! YAY! I’m tired of heavy raining and would really appreciate a  week of sun, thank you! (Especially since I start my vacation as of tonight!)

Here is a card I did this week. I’m really happy with the colors, and the butterfly from the Prickley Pear set Dragonfly 2 Clear Stamps Set is a beauty.

Butterflies 2 kort 1

I clear embossed the butterfly and inked it up with shades of distress inks.

Butterflies 2 kort 2

And the inside: The butterfly is double stamped (stamped once on scrap paper and then stamped on my card without re inking)

Butterflies 2 kort 3

I used Mojo Monday sketch 249, it’s a great one:

I got some very good advice on my lack of mojo, I will for sure go shopping. And I’ll do it good! AND I will take the challenge offered by Nick! Already got my card picked out. Both will have to wait a week though, I’m off for vacation and that too might be a good thing. I might long back to my craft table! And when I come back I hope a card does not take four days to complete…

Have a GREAT FRIDAY!!! YAY!!!!

Many Thanks

Happy Monday!

I'm back after wonderful a weekend spent with extended family. We left our boy at his grandparents for a week of parent free vacation. He will be spoiled rotten. :)

Today I'm back at work, and it's sooooo EMPTY. Haven't seen a soul so far. And my motivation is on the low side. I've written one sentence, removed it, rewritten it, removed it... So I decided to take a break and blog instead. :)

I'm not that productive when comes to paper crafts either. Lack the mojjo. Never ever happened like this before and it's really frustrating. Any suggestions how to break free??? Did manage to make a card last night though, and I really enjoyed it. Need more of that!
