Heartfelt Inspiration

Hi! Guten Morgen! (I’m in Berlin, practicing my German :)) I’m here to share my first projects this term for Heartfelt Creations. I got some yummy Asters stamps and dies AND gorgeous papers to create my Semi Finalist projects with and this is what I did:
Accordion 1
First up is an Accordion card/mini album. I’m really pleased with how this one came out. The Aster flower is so much fun to make, I used two colors in my layers to get some action going. Everything stamped is heat embossed with copper embossing powder.
Accordion 2

HC Supplies: HCPC 3494 Delicate Asters PreCut Set, HCPC 3363 Inspire Me Sentiments PreCut Set, HCD 726 Delicate Asters Die, HCDP1 224 Classic Editions Paper Collection. Other: Ink: Distress embossing ink, Vintage Photo Distress ink. Embossing powder: Inkido Copper, Vintage buttons, Paper twine and organza ribbon from May Arts, Pearls from Kaisercraft, Spellbinders dies: Labels one, Decorated labels one. Glue and foam tape.
Instructions:1. Make the cover by die cut two Labels one pieces out of card board (like a pizza box). Ink the edges. 2. Die cut four labels one pieces out of patterned paper. Ink edges and adhere to the cardboard die cuts. 3. Cut a 12 x 3 stripe out of patterned paper. Score the long side at 3”, 6” and 9” and adhere to the cover pieces. 4. Stamp, heat emboss and die cut multiple Delicate Asters on patterned paper and emboss the centers to shape them. Layer to make one small flower for the inside and one large for the cover. 5. Stamp, heat emboss and die cut one leaf. 6. Adhere a long organza ribbon with some tape on the center of the cover. The left end of the ribbon is supposed to go round of the back of the accordion. 7. Die cut a Decorated labels one and a labels one for the cover. Ink edges and layer. Adhere to cover with foam tape. 8. Ad pearls to the corners. I used white pearls that I heat embossed with copper embossing powder to match the flower. 9. Adhere flower to the front. 10. Stamp sentiment on patterned paper, heat emboss and trim a stripe. Ink edges and adhere over the flower and decorate with buttons. 11. Decorate the inside with Decorated labels one, flower and leaf. 12 Tie a bow to close the mini book.
My second project is a card. Isn’t the rich green and orange colors simply wonderful!?!
