TCC Feature Friday

Wohoo!!! It’s Friday! And a lovely Friday it is! The rain is pouring in kind of a horizontal way, it’s cold, windy and grey. It’s like autumn. I love autumn (not necessarily autumn with this kind of weather though). And the first two weeks of University is coming to an end which means time to BREATH! And -  It’s Character Cafe’s Feature Friday! I made today’s card last weekend, and I’ve been waiting since then to be able to show you – I have used the cutest word art ever.

Snips and snailsThe image is part of the Baby Talk Word Art from the August releases.  I love this card. It came together in no time and I really like the clean and simple look, letting the image stand for itself. I’ve printed it directly on my card base, using the Bazzill Straw cardstock. Straw is the new love of my life!!! (sorry sweet Kraft). I colored it with my copics put on a border and a ribbon and voila. Done. I’m a little sad I couldn’t get the colors right on the photo. Oh well.

This week’s Work it Wednesday challenge is ALL about STICKLES. It’s hosted by Billie who has done a great tutorial and one AMAZING LIST! Check it out HERE.

The Fab Design Team has been working on the August releases and you can check the gals projects out on their blogs:

Hi Tesa, Sorry to her your day isn't bright and cheery your way.
I have to agree with you on the clean & simpe look for your card,
it looks fabulous. I think your colouring looks really good too!
Great Job!

Tessa,

This is a great way to use the sentiment last week!!! I am never good at making just sentiment cards and you really did a wonderful job on it!!!!

I love the cute images by the beggining and end of the sentiment!!!
