TCC’s Feature Friday

There are a lot going on at The Character Cafe!

First I want to share my image of the week, Princess Ally! I’ve made a card for my youngest niece Rebecca who LOVES pink and princesses. So pink and princess it is. LOL! (The photos are clickable!)

Princess Ally This Wednesday, The Character Cafe blog launched Work it Wednesday, a weekly happening which features a technique/theme and a challenge every week from now on. And yes, you’ve got that right, it’s on Wednesdays! LOL! This week, Kendra (owner) shares a really fun technique which ads texture and shine to colored images. Check it out HERE. I had to try it out on my princess dress to get a satin shiny look.

Princess Ally detalj #2LOVE how that turned out!!! And it’s really easy! Go check the tutorial out! You will also find the cutest Freebie ever, celebrating Canada on July 1th. Yes, it is a beaver…

To get a nice back of my card, I cut Princess Ally’s head out with my Nestabilities and stamped some swirls and signed my design.

Princess Ally detalj #1 It’s not only me who fell in love with Ally’s pretty face. I’ve had my oldest niece Isabella, 6 years, visiting for a couple of days. And some of the nicest moments we had were when we were coloring our Allys together. She made Allys to all of us and cut them out beautifully. This is mine:

Princess Ally detalj #3She is eating an apple. Fruit is good for me, she promptly stated.

If you want a chance to win Ally or any of the other The Character Cafe images of your choice, you have the chance this week over at the Friday Sketchers. The Character Cafe is sponsoring this weeks challenge.

Wrapping it up: Check out the BLOG for a Tutorial, a Challenge and a Freebie. And if you want a great Sketch, the Friday Sketchers is sponsored by TCC. AND go visit the rest of the Design Team for more projects using the TCC images.

Vill önska dig en fin helg!
