Happy Saturday!!!

I’m so glad it’s finally Saturday. I’ve had one busy week with the University starting for a new year. I have my last lecture today, so I’m not all done with course introductions just yet. It will be so great by lunch time. Soooo this week has been most work, a little scrapbooking and a minimum of blogging. I’m far behind on visiting my friends… Sorry for that! I’ll be visiting shortly. Like after lunch! LOL!

I wanted to share two projects done during the week. First up is a card. I received a RAK Tuesday from a swapping friend – Lisa.  It warmed my heart and I totally love the old handmade beautiful lace and cute buttons!!! So I made her a thank you card.

Tack LIt’s based on this weeks CPS sketch. I couldn’t keep it as clean and simple… LOL! The beautiful flourish stamp is from Prickley Pear rubber stamps, and the gorgeous paper is front and back from an old October Afternoon I’ve been hoarding for like two years or maybe more. LOVE it!!!

Next up is a layout made for Scrap-Perra’s September challenge . It’s a fun recipe challenge where one is to use: 1 cardstock, 2 photos, 3 ribbons or lace, 4 different text types, 5 brads, 6 patterned papers, 7 flowers, 8 leaves, 9 buttons and 10 pearls or rhinestones. I managed, but it took quite a bit of thinking!!!

Se upp! And I made it even more difficult for me choosing winter pics. I don’t often use flowers with these… lol. But I think the snow and the cold could use some bling and some flowers. The AMAZING red flower is one I got a while back as a RAK from a mysterious secret sender. I finally could move on and use it. I’ve had it on my desk for quite some time, just looking at it. It’s soooo beautiful!

Have a great day all and thanks for stopping by!!!

I love the colors of the card and the dp's are just gorgeous! It's a good decision to use them...The stamp is also a beautiful one!

And your snowy lo is great! That red flower is the perfect touch on it.

TFS!

Ett elegant kort och en underbar LO. Jag har också gjort den utmaningen, tog mej 2 dagar att göra, lite knivigt men kul, eller hur!
