Det är mörkt nu...

...mörkt när man åker till jobbet och mörkt när man kommer hem. När ända in i hundan ska man ta kort då??? Hehe, det kan man kalla I-landsproblem! Idag är jag lite senare än vanligt för jag är på väg till arkivet och dom öppnar inte förrän 8.30 - det gäller at passa på.

It's dark outside. REALLY dark. It has a bad influence on my ability to take photos of my stuff!

Detta är veckans bidrag till Scrapopol. Uppdraget var att skapa monokromatiskt. Det är svårt. Och varför jag valde BRUNT vete fåglarna för det gjorde inte saken lättare. Men jag ÄLSKAR Li'l Davis metallic akrylfärg tillsammans med crackle accent - det ger en närmast magisk lyster!

I've used Kazan's sketch No 12 over att 2Sketches4You - I love the sketches and all the inspiration from their design team. I did this card as part of the scrapopoly game - my task this week was to do something monochromatic. That was a though one!

Bokmärket är till min kära make. Han har gruffat en längre tid om att "alla andra har minsann... Men jag har inte fått..." Så jag ska väl vara glad att han faktiskt VILL HA något jag gjort. LOL! Vid förfrågan om färgskala sa han tveklöst svart och rött. Fick användning av mina nya Tim Holtz-stämplar. Gillar jag dom eller gillar jag dom???

Och så har jag gjort ett grattiskort med den ursöta tårtstämpeln från Annas Scrapbooking! Grönt och råååsa är så gött tillsammans!Tack och hej, ha en trevlig helg!

This and that!

It's mostly work, work, work at the time, but I have been visiting my scrap room a couple of times the last weeks. Yesterday I finished another LO for my vacation album using the sketch of the week over at Pencil Lines
I couldn't get a decent photo so finally I simply gave up. The photos are from Bintz and our refreshing walk on the beach, clensing our eyes and souls after our visit to Prora.


This is a birthday card for my dad. This is also my entry for this week's round of Scrapopoly on the Scrappa.com forum. My task this week was to participate in a challenge over at Ismaki - which turned out to be a sketch and the use of pearls. Never been at Ismaki before, but it was really great - beautiful sketches!

And finally a birthday card for a friend I did a couple of weeks ago. I really like how this one turned out (which is a rare!) it's so simple, but the colors are great. LOVE my Prima!

What a day!!!

Yesterday I met up with two Scrapbook.com friends in Stockholm: Pia (StrawberryPia) and Irene (Scrapperlicious). It was an amazing day. It was such a wonderful thing to meet them in real life! They are such fun and sweet persons and the time went by far to quickly!

We dedicated the day to the beautiful art of scrapbook shopping and scrapbook talking. We went to Skapa Hobby and Papprika and put our feet inside the door of Matton five minutes before closing time (after a RUSH from the metro... I have long legs, they don't... lol).

I got this gorgeous purse card with a lovely bracelet from Irene. THANK YOU!!!

It was really sad to say goodbye, but Irene has promised to host us next time we visit Malaysia. :) Love you!!! And I truly hope we will meet again!!!

scrapopoly!!! Found this awesome challenge over at Scrappa.com (HERE is my thread) which I will have some serious fun with the coming months! My first challenge was to create a LO with the colors black, white and one other - I choose blue cause I'm in love with this blue/turquoise offbeat paper.

I used the Pencil line sketch #106.

This week I'm looking forward meeting two of my Stonehenge sisters, Pia (aka SmultronPia) and Irene (aka Scrapperlicious). We've known eachother for a year and a half but never met so it will be such a blast. Considering Irene lives in Malaysia it's no wonder we haven't met just yet... but Pia and I live in the same country so it's about time! LOL!

Back to work!

There is a party...

...going on right here. Well it's a CROP PARTY over at Svensk Scrapbooking but it surlely affects what's going on in this house as well... LOL! Loads of fun challenges. I won't do many of them, but a couple between beeing a mother, work and clean the house. Today I did this one. Challenge: to be inspired by the cover of Gwen Stephanis album.

Och så var det Tomas. Tomten Tomas. Han med glöggen. Han är söööööt! LOL! Han finns hos Annas Scrapbooking i flera olika varianter.

Och pompombanden har också anlänt. Gillar pompomband. Och mitt nya alfabet!!!

...har det blivit. Ja, i alla fall två.

I kväll ska jag stämpla och göra julkort med glöggiga tomten Thomas. Han är söt!

I'm so excited...

...I just can't hide it... (you hear the up tempo, in the song huh!?!) Well, I'm so toally thrilled cause I am from now a part of A Page In Time's design team. Wohooo!!!! It's a fab kit club with great paper lines. This month's kit is a must have (go take a look!)!!!

I just had to share my happiness!!! LOL!

Julkortsäsongen...

...har startat. Det är dags att börja fylla Annas Scrapbooking med julinspiration. Diane har redan börjat och nu är det min tur att bidra lite. Jag har lagrat up med SEIs julpapper här hemma. De är så underbart finstämda hela serien.I år tänkte jag göra Mail Art kort. Ska vara med i en Mail Art swap på sb.com också och det ska bli kul. Så här blev mitt första försök:Pappren är som sagt SEI, stämpeln från Inkido och clearvingarna är från Maya Road och finns hos Anna och fås i ett knippe med fem-sex olika. Kicki har gjort juldekoration av en (som finns till beskådan i butiken) och det blev helt underbart fint.

Nu ska jag tillbaka till julkortsverkstaden. Ha en trevlig kväll!

World Card Making Day

Jag har haft en riktigt härlig och rolig dag idag på kortmakarcrop hos Annas Scrapbooking. Tack Anna! Och Helene (som stod för utmaningarna!)! Vad gäller själva kortmakandet så blev det väl si och så... lol! Men det blev i alla fall något. Två kort:

Tja, pappren är underbara!!! Urban Prairie!!! Jaaa, jag kunde inte hålla mig längre så jag köpte några (fast bara tre). Jag vann med det översta och jag fick ett set med promarker pennor. Har bestämt mig för att komma över min aversion.

Och när jag kom hem väntade en väldig och glad överraskning på mailen. Men det får jag återkomma till senare.

Nu ska jag göra julkort.

That's a favourite acronym of mine! LOL! I had a though week, but now sitting here with a cold beer while dear husband is cooking a delish supper and having a long nice weekend ahead of me, things start to look good! Tomorow is World Card Making Day and I'll spend it on a Card Making Crop at Annas Scrapbooking. Wohooo!!!

I got hold of Ett Trykk yesterday (Thank you Anna for holding a copy for me!) and the card I submitted was in it. Feels nice! Haven't spend much time in my scraproom lately (darned flu!) but I did do a birthday present for MIL. I really like how this one came out - it is perfect for her in some way. It's 9x9 and is now put in a shadow box from IKEA. I used Pink Sketch #7
Got to love the Ambrosia line! And yes, I need to move on. I will! Eventually! I'm waiting for the collection pack of Urban Prairie... LOL! Then it will be A LOT of Urban Prairie... AND a new kit from Scrapbook Circle will land on my porch next week. Since I joined the kit club it feels like christmas every month!
