Happy Birthday

A friend of mine turned 60 last week. She spent her birthday in New York visiting Jazz clubs. There sure are worse ways to celebrate… :) Here is the card I made her.

Grattis I 3

The flowers (Posy patch flowers PreCut Set) from Heartfelt Creations) are masked and colored with copics. Need to practice more on that coloring technique. But I think they turned out ok, and I’m really happy about this card.

I’m playing along with CAS(E) this Sketch #96.

I have a second card to share, a Halloween card. They are so much fun to make but we don’t celebrate Halloween. But after seeing Audrey’s Haunted House Tour, I sure wish we did!

This week’s colors over at Poppy sketches called for something spooky, so I pulled out an old favorite from The Rubber Café.

More masking on this one.

The rain is pouring. It won’t stop until late afternoon. I’m so happy we are playing golf today… NOT! :)

Have a lovely Sunday and thanks for stopping by!

What a way to celebrate a birthday! LOVE your card, the pop of color from the blooms is absolutely perfect! Such a fun halloween card, and yes to Audrey's home tour, I look forward to it every year:)

These are such fabulous cards, Tesa! Of course I am in LOVE with that Halloween one! (and so glad you enjoyed my tour!) The little ghost is the cutest thing ever, and I LOVE your crisp clean design with the bright white and all those amazing layers. The birthday card is really beautiful, too! LOVE the border of flowers. And great coloring!
