Christmas Card Season…

…has officially begun at my place. I got some delicious new red rubber with winter/Christmas themes from Prickley Pear to work with this month. At once I started to make these cards, I realized just how much I’ve missed it!

Isn’t this scenery just wonderful?

I colored the image (which will be released soon) with Distress inks, except for the sky which is colored with metallic gelato which gives it a wonderful shine (which I couldn’t capture on the photo). Then I added some snow pen over the snow parts and it gives a fluffy snowy look.

To make it all shimmer a bit Christmas-y I misted the whole thing with glimmer mist.

My gosh, this card is absolutely jaw-dropping gorgeous, Tesa! I really love that sweet scene, but you made it shine with your fabulous coloring and detailing. the snow pen adds such a fabulous touch! This is just elegant and completely stunning!
