Getting lucky…

Happy Sunday!

I’ve been playing in my scrap room today just for fun. So love that!!! Might be a sign of me getting back on track when comes to crafting. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for that one!

And since I was playing for fun, I dug up my mists and a new (or rather never used) template and totally made a mess of me, my desk and my phone…

I’ve been planning on using these stamps from Skipping Stones Design but haven’t dared to use them until now. But the soon to be 45 year old who will receive this will take it good. And he deserves it… :)

Heartfelt Wednesday with a summer tag

Hi! Happy Wednesday!

I have a tag made for Heartfelt Creations to share today. I had so much fun making it. But it was impossible to photograph and both get the right warm colors but not too much shadow. Anyway, you get the idea.

I was inspired by a wedding card I saw on the internet. It had a similar scrolled paper design.

Gateway To The Seasons Collection

Hi all! Happy Wednesday!

Today is a such a beautiful day and best part is, it’s time for Heartfelt Creations to release the new Gateway To The Seasons Collection. This collection includes an Ornate Gate Die that is adorned with a flourishing design and a large, exotic accent piece. I’ve loved to work with this new release. The papers are out of this world beautiful, as are the dies. For my first card, I used my all time favorite HC paper. Look at the soft vintage flower pattern – sooooooo pretty!!! :)

The gate die is gorgeous, and so versatile. For this card I closed it and made it a tag pocket, letting the ornate die function as a tag topper.

Heartfelt Wednesday

Hi folks! Long time no see… Two weeks with no blogging is plain crazy. But that is the story of my life right now, so it fits. I’m happy to be back today and to share a couple of Heartfelt Creations projects.

First up is last week’s card using the amazing Sun Kissed Fleur Background.

It is stamped and heat embossed before inked with Broken China and Vintage photo. Then I went over the flowers, stems and leafs with Twinklings H2O and glitter pens. Yep, it’s another sparkling card! :)
