Birthday Bag with Tag and a card

Hello! It’s Wednesday and time for a Heartfelt Creations post. I have two projects to share, a paper bag with tag and a card.

First up the bag – I bought a stack of white sturdy paper bags a while back, and now I can’t stop playing with them. I’ve made a couple of birthday bags for the upcoming birthdays. Here is one of them. The tag is adhered with a cloth pin, so that the recipient can save the tag if he wants to (some save everything, some don't…)

I played around with the Distress crackle paint. Love that stuff!

Heartfelt Wednesday

Happy Saturday!

I woke up to two inches snow and I must say it wasn’t what I needed. But it will be gone by tomorrow and we’ve been promised some spring next week. Can’t WAIT!

I spent the morning in my craft room, making a couple of cards. For the first one I was totally inspired by THIS card by amazing Amy and it was done in no time. And best part – I like it. A lot!

I stamped the chevron (from Cocoa Daisy) with Scrap Happy Glue and rubbed in some glitter so this is another sparkling card made for a sparkling woman. Love this SRM sticker sentiment.

Next up is a Hello card, where I play with my latest buy, Picket Fence Distress Crackle Paint. Love this stuff. Everything white on this card is covered…

Second card is using some of the amazing seaside sceneries with lighthouses and boats. Love this set! I tried to go masculine, which was made easier with these stamps and papers than it usually is for me. :)

We spent the past four days enjoying amazing spring weather in the ski slopes celebrating my husband who turns 50 today!!!!

We had a wonderful time. ♥♥♥

Today it’s back to business. And I have a card for The Rubber Café to share.

I used some old Pink Paislee papers and teemed it up with the most amazing dragonfly ever: Large Paisley Dragonfly.

I painted part of the dragonfly with Scrap Happy Glue and rubbed in You’re so Fine Glitter – Silver Medal. It shimmers!!!

Birthday card

Hi! Happy Tuesday!

My husband turns 50 on Monday so a lot of preparations are going on. I did his card tonight when he and the boy went to a hockey game.

I used my favorite color combo – brown and blue(ish),  from an OLD (hehee) favorite MME paper pad.

I was inspired by this week’s fabbie sketch from Mojo Monday.

Hi! Hope you had a great weekend and a lovely Easter celebration. We have had some family time and it’s been really nice. I also found some time to craft this morning. Yay for me! :)

I tried a new technique (for me) – stamping with glue and adding glitter. This baby shimmers. Like crazy! Good thing it’s going to a lady who loves her bling! :)

We have wonderful weather with a clear blue sky and a sun so bright I’d like to wear shades indoors. I love it, but it sure makes the photographing part a tad bit difficult….

All the stamps are from Heartfelt Creations: Burlap Background and Tattered Blossoms. The merci is a SRM sticker.
