Prickley Pear Monday
Happy Monday!!! Hope the weekend was a good one!
Today’s card is for Prickley Pear.
I tried to go vintage after a series of CAS cards. It was fun, and I also got to use up some last scraps from the fabbie Bo Bunny’s Gabrielle paper pad. I love this Sewing ad stamp.
The banner is from the Hot Air Balloon Clear Stamps Set. And I also used the Coffee Stain on both banner and ad.
I used Card Patterns’ sketch 162. Another great one!
The Prickley Pear blog is filled with Design Team inspiration. Go check it out! :)
Have a great day!!!

Hello Sunshine
Happy Sunday! Hope you are having a good weekend! Yesterday we woke up to snow (!) but today things are starting to look like spring again. Life is good! :)
A quick CAS card today.
With a sun theme! :)
Love this card! Took me like 20 minutes tops, uses scrap paper from my favorite paper pad right now (Echo Park This & That) and turned out better than I had pictured it in my head. Yay!
I did this card for Splitcoast Stampers Featured Stamper challenge. I used THIS card as my inspiration.
The stamps used are Cocoa Daisy (arrow) and Verve Stamps (sentiment).
Time to make dinner!

Congrats
Hi you all! I’m off to a two day conference but thought I’d pop in real quick to share the card I did last night. I bought this beautiful LilyBee paper pad a while ago with the most wonderful soft colored and soft patterned paper. It’s been hoarding on my desk - but no more. I teamed it up with some pastel stamping using my loved Art Journey stamps.
I used this lovely sketch from Stamps & Fun.
Thanks for stopping by!!!

A little bird told me
Hi folks! Hope the weekend’s been great! We had a calm couple of days at home with work (a HUGE pile of tests to grade, yikes!) some dvds and a few hours of crafting. Spring finally came with both sun and warmth so we’ve truly enjoyed that too. :)
Here is today’s card using some fabbie MME papers teamed up with Prickley Pear Stamps: Build a Bird Clear Stamps Set and A little bird told me.
I thought I’d play along with this week’s Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger (like I so often do, except I almost always miss deadline… And I’m pretty close doing it now too… :P ). Love these little birds and beautiful blue and green color combo.
The design is based on the new fabbie sketch over at Card Patterns.
The Prickley Pear Blog is filled with more porjects using the Prickley Pear stamps if you’d like to take a peek and be inspired. The Design Team is AMAZING!!! :)

The Rubber Café and Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop
Hi! It’s so much fun to finally launch The Rubber Café and Really Reasonable Ribbon’s Blog Hop!
If you came here from Jan’s blog, you’re right on track. If not you might want to start from the beginning at The Rubber Café’s Blog.
I’ve had a great time playing with my favorite stamps from The Rubber Café and awesome ribbon from RRR! I ended up making a round suitcase vintage style:
I started my project with the aim to use the most amazing ribbon ever: the Sheer Woven Rosettes Yellow. So I made my own template of a round suitcase to perfectly fit the ribbon, using this great tutorial from Stephi as my guidance.
The Rosette ribbon is misted with some brown metallic mist to be more vintage looking and I placed pearls in the centers. The handle and locker are coated with another beautiful ribbon; Ivory Pleated Satin. I inked the edges with some Vintage Photo.
The clock is from the Vintage Treasures set. It’s paper pieced and works as a stopper for the locker. The cute heart is from Prima and I’ve hoarded it forever, but I think I found the right place for it!
And here is the inside with a little message to the opener! The sentiment and the corset is from the Be Stylish set and the Label is from the Card Labels set.
All the papers used are from MME Lost and found.
Now, to continue the hop, go over to Emily and find out what she has in store for you! But don’t forget to leave a comment for your chance to win a prize! :)
Thanks for stopping by!

Just Because
Hi folks!
Prickley Pear is sponsoring the Card Patterns’ sketch challenge this week. What a great combo – favorite stamps and favorite challenge! :) I had to play (of course!) and to make it even more fun I teamed it all up with some favorite papers from Riddersholm Design – Chantilly Dawn. Here is my take:
The stamps used are the Just Because sentiment and the beautiful Flower Silhouettes.
You find the challenge HERE. Go check it out! The DT did AMAZING cards with the Prickley Pear stamps!!! :)
Have a great day!

Prickley Pear Monday
Hi all! Happy Monday! Hope your Easter has been a good one! Mine was. We’ve been at home with mother in law visiting. Not much crafting though. I need to figure out how to move the guest room from my scrap room!
I have a couple of CAS cards to share today. Loads of white, both inspired by this week’s Featured Stamper over at SCS.
I’ve used white cardstock and a negative die cut heart with some gorgeous Bo Bunny paper peaking out. The sentiment is In Dreams from Prickley Pear, a favorite sentiment, stamped in grey.
And when I was at it, I did a clean card without sentiments. Just a fancy tag, some punched out butterflies and pearls. Hard to photograph, but I really like how it came out.
The Prickley Pear Blog is filled with amazing inspiration by the fab Design Team. Just saying!
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Thank You!
Nope! I’m not dead. I’ve just had the flu. THE flu. Geeeeesh! But I’m up and running now (sort of) and that is great. Haven’t crafted for two weeks! YIkes! But last night I did a much needed thank you card. My boy who is gluten intolerant was given a ship load of the most delish bread and cookies from a friend. He was (is) in heaven. :)
I went for a colorful card to a colorful lady. LOVE these papers by Echo Park! The Winged Heart stamp is from Prickley Pear and is perfect for an angel. I worked with loads of layers and 3D foam.
Check out my new Edge Punch! It’s wonderful! An Easter present from me to me. :)
The card is based on Card Patterns’ fabbie sketch #159:
