Late Wednesday Post…

Hi! Saturday is the new Wednesday – at least this week. I had two cards for Heartfelt Creations this week. both using stamps and papers from the amazing Burst of Splendor collection.

First up is a distressed shabby sort of card, using some corrugated cardboard and distress crackle paint.

To a beautiful you

Lots of layers and dimensions on this one. All the products and instructions on how to make it can be found on the Heartfelt Creations blog. The same goes with next one:

A clean and simple card.  I so adore the beautiful elegant pattern of this paper. :)

The reason I’m a few days late this week is I just got back from here:

Just thinking about you

Hi! Here is my Heartfelt Creations card this week. I went with a clean and elegant (at least I tried!) look using some spellbinders dies, gorgeous Burst of Splendor paper collection and flower stamps.

Just thinking 1

I adore this crème colored soft patterned paper I use for my main panel. The flower stamps are the Blooming Dahlia PreCut Set and Sun Kissed Fleur PreCut Set. The Dahlia is paper pieced and the smaller flowers are die cut with the Sun Kissed Fleur Die. The leaf is from Open Leaf PreCut set and it is die cut with the Classic Leaf Die. The sentiment (that I love and use over and over again) is from the Butterfly and Bunny PreCut Set.

Happy Birthday card

Hi all! I have quite a few birthdays coming up so I thought I’d start making a stash.

Happy Birthday 1

I used some gorgeous Prima papers from the Fairy Rhymes collection and stamps from The Rubber Cafe. The clock is from the Vintage Treasures set and the sentiment from Fruit Medley set.I slaughtered a candle decoration for the flower.

Happy Birthday 2

I used this week’s sketch from CAS(E) this sketch:

Getting lucky…

Happy Sunday!

I’ve been playing in my scrap room today just for fun. So love that!!! Might be a sign of me getting back on track when comes to crafting. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for that one!

And since I was playing for fun, I dug up my mists and a new (or rather never used) template and totally made a mess of me, my desk and my phone…

getting lucky

I’ve been planning on using these stamps from Skipping Stones Design but haven’t dared to use them until now. But the soon to be 45 year old who will receive this will take it good. And he deserves it… :)

I’m playing along with CAS-ual Fridays this week.

Thanks for stopping by!
