Roses in December

Hi!!!

T.G,I,F!

This Friday is one that I’ve been longing for all week. So wonderful to finally have it here! It was a good week, got a lot done, but it was mostly spent on the road with me wanting to go home. :) I had a happy mail day on both Monday and Tuesday and it was killing me to know what was waiting for me… And boy it was like Christmas yesterday! The HC CHA products are out of this world… Just saying… :) Tonight is card making night. For sure!

Here is a card that I thought was going up on my pre scheduled Heartfelt Creations Wednesday post. But it didn’t so here it is. I simply adore this vintage patterned paper and wanted to use the corner with the roses for a clean card.

Memories with you

I teamed up a few different sets aiming to make the most of the sentiment. Isn’t it simply wonderful? Played some with the roses in December and added snow from a snow pen on the flower. IRL it’s really nice, but I’m not sure when I see it on the photo… Anyway…

All the information about this card, products and instructions, can be found on the Heartfelt Creations Blog.

I used this lovely sketch from Sketch Frenzy Friday:

Have a lovely day and thanks for stopping by!

Heartfelt Wednesday

Hi all! Hope you are having a good week so far. Wednesdays are Heartfelt Creations posting time and I continue playing with the fabulous November release Timeless Amour. This week I teamed it up with stamps from other collections as well. Like on the first card, I totally adore these  Tattered Blossoms, they have this gorgeous vintage look that goes so well with the new stamps and papers.
to a beautiful you
I can’t get enough of this heart die! Told you you’d see a lot of it… :) And this background stamp with a beautiful vintage text is also a very versatile stamp that will be used over and over again. I stamped it with Walnut stain on patterned paper so it gives a really soft and nice look, but to make it a tid bit more visible, I went over it with a glitter pen, so in the right light it will glitter some.
to a beautiful you 2
I used loads of stickles on the flowers and leafs too, so with the glitter accents on the background and the gems in the flowers, this brownish card really sparkles.

Christmas Card with Pine Trees

Hi! Happy Monday!

Hope you had a good weekend! I did – we went “home” and met up with my parents and my brother and his family. ♥♥♥ Now I’m back and after three crazy weeks, it’s about time to catch up big time. I don’t know where to start, really, but I guess it’s just to dig into it. :)

Today’s card is a Christmas card for The Rubber Cafe. I played some with distress inks, water and a Maya mist on water color paper to get a winter-ish sky background. I then had some fun stamping with Large Pine Tree and It’s a Blizzard Outside and embossing with some white embossing powder. I let the pine trees dry some so that they didn’t get full coverage. Some dark green tree is somewhere beneath the snow.

Merry Christams

Merry Christmas 2_redigerad-1

The sentiment is Merry Christmas (Bold) and the decorations used are a flower from Riddersholm Design, Twine and some Jellie Dots – Crystal Clear.

Heartfelt Wednesday

Hi! Today’s project is an altered box with a plastic bubble on the lid with the decoration inside. It’s like the opposite from a shadow box of the sorts. Super fun but totally impossible to photograph… To much shine everywhere. Anyway, I went with a vintage style and wanted the feeling of a rose garden inside the bubble.

Adhere to stamped panel. Stamp and die cut two leafs from the Delicate Asters set and tuck in beneath the roses. Stamp three butterflies on patterned paper and cut out and adhere to panel with foam tape to get some dimension and the feel of flying butterflies. Ad pearls to the butterflies. Secure the panel and the bubble to the lid. Decorate the lid with a frame made of circle and scalloped circle nestabilities and pearls. Make four flowers by stamping and die cutting 6 Vintage Floret images, crinkle the petals and layer. Ad pearls to the centers and adhere to lid. Tie a ribbon and a bow around the edge of the lid.

Back in Business

Hi! Happy Monday! I’m back from almost a week in Berlin and let me tell you – that is one amazing city. I’m in love! :) I was attending a conference that was superb and extremely hectic, so not much time for sightseeing. But I saw enough to know I have to take my boys there real soon. And the food… well, I think knödeln will grow on you over time. Maybe. But I’m not sure about the Shank. Imagine the shock when half a pig with bones and all was served… The meat inside was delicious though. Still… The beer and Döner Kebab was excellent! :)

Shank

I have more photos but that will have to wait till later this week, now I have today’s card for The Rubber Cafe to share. I got some new yummy MME papers in blue and yellow and it felt like a blue summer sky and sun and thought I’d play with that feeling in contrast to all the Seasonal cards I’ve been doing lately.
It’s a Miss you card, so any colors should do – right! :)

Miss you 2

The beautiful butterfly stamp is called Small Trailing Butterflies and is a favorite of mine. You’ve seen it before if you visit my blog on a regular basis. I stamped it multiple times on patterned papers and layered them for some dimension. A pearl in the centers gives the butterflies some sparkle…

Miss you 3

The sentiment stamp is from Fabulous Phrases.
Miss you 1

I used a sketch from a few weeks back from Try Stampin’ on Tuesday – I didn’t find the time to play then, but I really liked the sketch.

And before I go – I had +1000 posts in my reader when I got home yesterday. The internet connection was ridiculously expensive in Berlin so I couldn’t keep up. And I wont have the time to back track. A new crazy week. So I’m sorry that I’ve missed all of your activity the past week.

Thank you for stopping by and have a lovely new week!

I’m still in Berlin enjoying assessment studies and bratwurst (I hope!). So this is a pre scheduled post, not letting the blog die while away. :)
Thought I’d share a card that was published in September in Create: Stamping idea book.

Heartfelt Inspiration

Hi! Guten Morgen! (I’m in Berlin, practicing my German :)) I’m here to share my first projects this term for Heartfelt Creations. I got some yummy Asters stamps and dies AND gorgeous papers to create my Semi Finalist projects with and this is what I did:
Accordion 1
First up is an Accordion card/mini album. I’m really pleased with how this one came out. The Aster flower is so much fun to make, I used two colors in my layers to get some action going. Everything stamped is heat embossed with copper embossing powder.

Many Thanks!

Hi! Happy Monday!

I find that I can’t have too many Thank You cards. So many nice people out there that deserves a heartfelt thanks now and again! So here is a sparkling card with soft grey and blue nuances using Many Thanks and Butterfly Set, both from The Rubber Cafe.

Man Thanks butterflies
I stamped the butterflies on patterned paper and cut out and mounted them on circle die cuts. They also got a nice coat of sparkling You’re So Fine Glitter – Diamond Clear Cool Highlight. I used some Scrap happy sheer glue thinned with some water to get a nice thin coat of glue for the glitter to stick. I went over the flowers too with the same procedure. Difficult to capture on photo…

Thanks a bunch!

Happy Sunday folks! Hope the weekend is a good one. I’m alone at home. My boys flew to Barcelona on Friday to have father son quality time and see some soccer. My little one loooves Barcelona and Messi is a God. :) I’m home working like a crazy woman. Did a good eight hours yesterday and will do at least five today. :( Well, it’s for a good cause, I’m leaving for Berlin on Tuesday – conference time! :)

Since I’m alone, I had plenty of time to play too! Here is a card I did with my new Heartfelt Creations goodies (which I received on Friday after a CRAZY hunt after my package involving some not so pretty phone calls and a long drive to a ware house that was impossible to find. All due to a mail man refusing to release my box to my son). Anyway it was WORTH  all the hard work! :)
