Hepp!

Gooood Morning! It’s a beautiful day here. Sun is shining so I’m happy! LOL! And it’s time for a new 365 cards Super Sketchy Sunday! That makes me happy too! LOL!

Especially since we have another GREAT sponsor this week!!! The KLM Design!

I got the cute Carl the Clown digi image to play with. I love clowns! All sorts of them! But I’ve understood that some people have this thing with clowns…. Strange. But I did an ATC swap where I made a vintage clown ATC and the recipient totally freaked out. That clown didn’t look as cute as my Carl though… Anyway. Here is the sketch.

And my card:

Hepp I’m using up my Green at Heart papers and some amazing gems from Doodlebug I got in a kit over two years ago. Lost and found. Have a wonderful Sunday and hope to see your take on the sketch!

And love the winner of Eurovision Song Contest from yesterday!!!

Missing you

Just a quick one on the way to work. I have had this AMAZING stamp from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps on my desk for a couple of weeks. Isn’t it simply amazing??? I did a real QUICK coloring of this one late last night, but I think it turned out pretty ok anyway. Simply couldn’t wait until I had more time…

Missing YouThe image is so big and lovely, that I thought it didn’t need much embellies. The lovely sketch from Card Patterns this week was perfect for this.

On another note – my mail is totally DOWN!  So if I don’t answer, I simply didn’t get your mail.

Have a great day folks!

Sometimes simple says it best…

Welcome to 365 cards’ Super Sketchy Sunday!

We have a new super fun week ahead of us sponsored by independent {ippity} chick  Elisabeth. The DT got fab red {ippity} rubber to work with this week and the sketch looks like this:

Fun huh!?!!

And here is my take with some old but still totally fab October Afternoon papers and cinnamon stickles.

Somtimes simple says it best I have a layout to share too. It’s a page I did for Leamon’s Bloggparty challenge – a really great sketch. (For more info about Bloggparty, check out THIS post). The photo is of my dear son, protesting against having his photo taken. As always… I don’t know how many photos of him with strange faces or hand palms covering everything I have. I told him the other day that since these are the only photos I have, I’ll start making scrapbook pages out of them. He didn’t believe me – then…

Ge dig!My friend Li-bee ti is challenging me to go more freestyle. She thinks I would feel good if I tried to scrap more free and less clean and straight than I normally do. I’ve tried to explain I really, REALLY, can’t manage the freestyle. But I DID give it a try with this page. I know, crashed and burned again… LOL!

Ok, folks! Hope you are having a lovely Sunday and that you feel inspired to go make a fab card out of today’s sketch! Go check out the DT sample cards HERE! They are, as always, truly gorgeous!

Mommy who do I know who will have a birthday soon – and is a BOY???  The only one  we could think of is a friend from school who turns 10 in August. Well, this one will be for him.

Stort Grattis_redigerad-1 I think he turned out pretty cool. Used up some scraps too.  I’m also entering this in the Our Creative Corner “Let’s hear it for the boys” challenge.

Have a sweet birthday!

I have a quick card and a short post today. We are on our way visiting friends this weekend and hubby is slamming the door for me to come….

Have a sweet birthday Soooo, the card is a clean and simple one, based on the CPS sketch this week. I also incorporated a couple of cross stitches to meet the 365 cards challenge today. Stamps used are delicious Hey Cupcake! from The Rubber Café.

Better go! Have a great weekend!

TGIF!!!

Hi!!! Sitting here with a cold bear, a clean house and pizza on the way. Life is good! *grin*Hope you all are enjoying your Friday. I took a break from work and cleaning and did a card earlier today. And I’ve been waiting ever since for the rain to stop. And it finally did. I guess the saying that April showers will bring May flowers should be changed to May showers will bring June flowers. If the freaking roe deers don’t eat them all…

The 365 cards challenge today is a recipe. I love recipes, so I had to play. One was to use  a 4.25 x 5.5 card, two patterned papers, stripes, 1 piece of ribbon, stamped image and a stamped sentiment. And here is my take:

A bird told me

I used one patterned paper as background, and another one to stamp my image and sentiments on. From that same awesome Webster’s pages paper, I cut out the flowers in the bottom. The image stamps is from
Artistic Outpost and the sentiment is from the A little bird told me set from Firecracker Designs by Pamela

Well, I’m smelling Pizza! Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Card therapy!

Sometime yesterday I lost my ability to think… Don’t know when it happened but I got the first sign when I was trying to use an old Swedish proverb and said (with a really bad translation) First thing you go blind on is your ears… Oh well. I knew it had happened for sure when I had to go to the shop for the third time before I had all the ingredients (like six…) for dinner. So I skipped work last night, and made a couple of cards instead. Pure therapy! And now I hope my thinking ability is back so that I will be able to write this post down…

First card is based on Card Patterns sketch 63. I made it really simple using my new The Rubber Café Labrador stamps.

Happy Birthday

The second one is a love themed Easel card for Kath’s Blog Party Challenge.

Super Sketchy Sunday!

Hi folks! It’s time for another fun Super Sketchy Sunday over at 365 cards!

We have a sponsor this week with THE most gorgeous vintage digi images I’ve ever seen – the Digi Doodle Shop

They have other cute images too, and you have the chance to win some of them by participating in this weeks challenges at 365 cards. Starting today with a fun sketch!

I got me a nice package of scrapbook supplies last week filled with delicious Cosmo Cricket papers – Material Girl. Yean I know, I’m a slow starter… But now when I have them, I’ll use them up real quick – I can tell ya!  And I thought these papers were PERFECT to the Digi Doodle Shop image I got to work with – The 1900 – 1920 Vintage.

Best Friends

Isn’t she gorgeous???

And while digging deep in the CC papers, I made a layout as well.  This one is for Mahlin’s Blog Party recipe challenge: to use 4 patterned papers, 3 photos, 5 buttons, 1 clock, lace,  flowers and paint. One was also allowed to ad other stuff of ones choice.  It was super fun, love recipes!!!

Tid för pysselThese are photos from earlier this year when we had a day of scrapbooking at my place.  It was fun, might be time to do that again???

I’d better get back to work. Take care, and I hope to see your take on the sketch challenge!!!

A 10 minute card…

…can actually end up fairly ok. 365 cards has a week of “3” challenges. I love these, they are always so much fun and when I saw The 3 W’s for today and Kim’s beautiful white space card, I had to play even though I really don’t  have the time. But one can always take 10 minutes – it’s like a coffee break by the scrap desk. Right!?!

So, the 3 W’s are: White, White space and Wings. Perfect for a clean and simple card using my new butterfly punch (again...).

Spread your wings Here is another of my layouts from the Scrapmästaren competition. This page is my personal favorite of the five I made. The challenge was a recipe (only patterned papers, doodling, ribbons/thread, paint, journaling) and I think it ended up kind of neat. Love the photos of my boys in stripes.

4 Mina randiga killar Have a great Wednesday!

Bloggparty!

I’ve made my first project for Blogparty, and it was a lift of this gorgeous page made by Cattis.

I djupa tankar...This is what my lift ended up like. It’s dear son thinking about life and the spring. Notice my new MS Butterfly punch??? I love that punch! LOL!

I’ve also made a card. We have mother’s day coming up and I thought the beautiful Card Patterns sketch this week would make a up a nice flowery card for mom.

Thanks Mom

Papers: Bazzill and beautiful but unknown polka dot paper
Stamps: Prickley Pear Rubber StampsSmall Tulip, Thanks Mom
Ink: Staz On
Decos: Flower and metal charms from Kort og Godt, Tim Holtz die, Kaiserkraft rhinestone, ribbon.

Time to make dinner! Have a great day!

Eat More Cupcakes!

I had a box of fresh rubber waiting for me in my mailbox when I came home today. SWEET red rubber I might ad!!! LOL! So I had to dig into it right away.

Cupcakes 1

Papers: Bazzill, Riddersholm Design
Stamps: The Rubber CaféHey Cupcake set
Ink: Memento

The design is based on Laura’s sketch #51 at 2 Sketches 4 You and I’ve also tried to do today’s 365 cards challenge – the 3 F’s: Fringe, Fairy Tale and Favorite Color. The two first are no brainers, (notice the pom pom fringe? and turquoise is my absolute fav color) but I’m creative in my interpretation of the Fairy Tale part… But to me, eating more cupcakes sounds like a fairy tale… Oh well! ;D

Thanks for stopping by!

Birthday card

Dear son was invited for an informal Birthday Party yesterday with very short notice. We didn’t have time to go into town to get a proper present, so I made a card and filled it with money and a couple of lottery tickets instead.

Grattis FilipThe design is based on the fabbie sketch #101 from Sketch Saturday. And I went with some really bright green and lovely Sugar Rush papers for a bright and festive look.

Grattis Filip insidaHe liked it, so I’m happy! LOL!
