Welcome to the World Card Making Day Countdown Blog Hop hosted by the Moxie Fab World. We are waiting for the big day, the World Card Making Day, on Saturday, October 3, when people all over the world will unite in the joy and celebration of the fantastic art of card making. And why not spend the time waiting with a world wide countdown blog hop with several chances of winning fabulous prizes?
I’ve made a card with a celebration theme for this occasion. Cake is one lovely way of celebrating things, don’t you think??? And to be able to make cards, one need some help around the house, right?
Recipe: Papers; Bazzill, Fancy Pants, Crate. Stamps; Firecracker Designs – Women in Character. Ink; Versa Fine, Distress Ink. Flower; Prima. Brad; American Crafts. Black pearls; Kaiser. Rub Ons (?) Spellbinder Nestabilities.
Your first chance to win a really neat little something, or rather a huge package of products from Spellbinders, Hambly Screenprints, Webster’s pages and Unity Stamp Company is to comment on this blog post and on the Moxie Fab World (where you will also find a photo of the prize!). You’ll also find links to the rest of the participants in today’s hop, which means more chances to win!!! Comments will close on Sunday October 4 at midnight MDT. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, October 6.
I will be spending next Saturday making cards full of love sending them to special friends with a little something, just because! I do that way to seldom but this day is a perfect day for a change on the matter! What will you be doing? You can find inspiration and tips what to make out of the day on the World Card Making Day web site. If you are doing something special for celebration and you want to share and participate in the big Blog Tour, sign up HERE. While writing this there are already 186 participants. And I bet there will be more by the end of the week!
More chances to win; Be sure to upload the cards you make to the WCMD gallery to share your craft AND to become eligible to win a prize on the Paper Crafts Connection blog and the Moxie Fab World blog. You could also participate in the WCMD contest in which you have the chance to be published in the March/April 2010 issue of Paper Crafts magazine. The themes and rules can be found HERE.
